The Department "Paolo Fortunati" is the leading actor in statistical research and teaching at the University of Bologna.
The PhD in Statistical Sciences, from the XXVIII cycle will be organized with two specific and separated Curricula:
a) Statistical Methods;
b) Agri-food Economics and Statistics
The application will be open for one month from about the mid of May 2012. The selection of candidates is scheduled for the second half of July. Courses will start the 1st of October 2012.
The two addresses of the PhD program pertains to the Doctorate School of the University of Bologna, in "Economics and Statistics". The Director of the school is Professor Gian Luca Marzocchi.

The Department provides the highest level of academic degrees by the PhD Programme in Statistical Sciences. Starting from 28th cycle, the PhD Programme is structured in two specializations.
The call for the 28th cycle was published with deadline on June 19, 2012. The selection will occur on July 10, 2012. Courses will start on 1 October 2012.
